Convention Edition: CONsole Room wherein a banana was brandished

For those of you who missed the first dedicated Dr. Who con in 20 years, shame on you! We had such a great time interviewing the nerds who put in a ton of time to make this event unique and special.

We got to chat up the queen of CONsuite, Michelle, and the empress of Masquerade and the hall costumes, Kat, about their Crapp wine, the importance of excellent costumers, and why we should always have a corkscrew handy. Oh, and a Jason guy showed up a few times….

Then we had a chance to hear from Boxed Wine Theatre founders, Bethany Simmons and Adam Sharp. They produced a staged version of the Dr. Who episode “Midnight” for the opening of the CON which we both got to be grateful actors in.

Last stop was to find treasures in the Dealer’s Room where we encountered the wonderfully talented Leann Olson and her array of uniquely nerdy and feminine fashions.
